I had seen Cory many times but this was also my first time to see Jon and let me tell you brother I am hooked… I went out and downloaded…err bought some DTR and I can’t wait until Jon get’s back here in November with the Revival tour. We went out drinking after the show with Jon and Cory(we usually do with Cory when he’s in town, but it was the first time meeting Jon) and it was awesome like you said just a genuine guy who was awesome to talk to and hang out with(and I’m pretty sure my dog liked making out with Jon) if I had had more money I’d have bought the record, but alas I didn’t know it came with a digital download and wasn’t sure how I was gonna play an EP……

I ordered the split well in advance and it came to me a few weeks ago(including a poster of the cover, you just have to pay for a poster tube). Also picked up the jon snodgrass solo cd package which is one helluva deal for 30 bucks(LP, CD, T-shirt, Cozie, Pint Glass, Poster, Button). I don’t know why none of corys albums sound like his live show, but i agree about the songs on this ep sounding great.

Nah, it wasn’t preorder stuff, they just got pretty backed up. No worries though, cd’s are on their way. I was getting nervous though I’ve got a six hour road trip coming up in a couple weeks and desperately needed some new tunes.

@Bdub – Don’t ever order multiple preorders at once. I have about $50 worth of stuff I preordered in May that I still haven’t gotten because somethings out of stock. If there’s something I’m impatient to get (like this shirt) I always order separately.

@Bdub – I’m gonna guess you ordered something that was out of stock…or it was those craft brew shirts (i ordered one) & I was under the impression that those were a preorder gimmick and they were still being made.

@WhiskeyTango – I think “getting” the cover may be limited to those of us who are old. I mean those of us who bought cassettes that actually had covers like that. I can see people not getting it. I still want a wall hanging…

@TheOtherBrit – I don’t know if it was the cupcakes but it could have been. I didn’t bring anything but a recorder that didn’t work and a camera. Maybe Cory would have made less fun of me if I had brought pastries. Suck up…

@Bdub – Glad to have you here. I have not personally had any issues with Suburban Home’s shipping. I know Virgil drops by here on a seemingly regular basis so maybe he’ll pop by and say something.

If you want to order it from SubHome make sure and do it now so you’ll have it by Christmas. Love their music but I placed an order on Sept 16 and it has yet to even ship. Very frustrating.

Love the EP, so glad I tuned into this site and discovered DTR and Jon Snodgrass. Just amazing stuff. I’m not sure I’ve heard a song I didn’t love.

I saw the show in Atlanta and it was pretty awesome. Jon and Cory are some of the nicest guys, or maybe that’s because I brought a box full of cupcakes with me.

SubHome made a shirt of the cover. I think they should start shipping any day now, though I’m sure Virgil will tell otherwise, since I’m always wrong about release dates.
