I made it back from Colorado late Saturday night. My luggage came in a day later. I was gonna sit down and write some stuff yesterday but I awoke Sunday morning feeling like poo-poo. Seems I got a nasty cough and headache to go along with an acute case of the PVB’s. As a result I ended up laying on my couch, watching a lot of reality TV and listening to some of the music that came in while I was gone. One of those albums happened to be Willie Nelson‘s new cd, Moment of Forever. When it got to track 3, The Bob Song, I saw the trend…2008 is the year of the Bob. On Jan. 22 we get Bob from The Drive-By Trucker’s new cd, Brighter than Creation’s Dark. Then, a mere 7 days later, Willie Nelson puts out The Bob Song which is followed by Bobby Knight abruptly resigning from his Texas Tech coaching position on Feb 4. Coiencidence or trend? Have there been other Bobs in the news? Is this interesting to anyone else or is it just my self-medication talking?
