This song is sure to be a #1 hit on Country Radio if it isn't already. They'll probably be playing it at this Sundays Bucs game. The drunken rednecks will hoot and hollar for it when they are not yelling to put Alstott in the game even though he is retired.

They know what they are doing, appealing to fans of Jimmy Buffet, Toby Keith and Kenny Chesney, music fans who don't really like music, former fans of hair metal ballads, it's all the same garbage for the same people, the lowest common denominator. Sad but true.

Wow! I don't think I have words to describe what that is or how bad it is. Just wow. I am not known for discerning taste in music, for God's sake I like the Trailerpark Troubadours, but that is just horrible.

I see by their schedule they'll be in Jacksonville, FL, tomorrow night. Since Jacksonville has the collective IQ of a houseplant, they'll probably erect shrines to this band.

These guys really went to shit. My buddy gave me an untiled cd by them before Welcome to the woods and I thought they were a great. Welcome to the Woods was good in itself, but they lost me at their 2006 release. It is really a shame what Nashville is doing to these artists. A lot of once good groups are turning to that generic Nashville sound. I wear my "Fuck Nashville" tshirt to all the local shows and I am not the only music fan who feels this way.

This is one of the worst things I've ever heard, and I have questionable taste at times. Godallmighty, I somehow made it through one full listen of the album but I fear I lost a little piece of my soul in that time. Wholey crap.

Agreed, down south. We had similar dialogue last year: http://www.hearya.com/2007/06/17/the-lost-trailers-%E2%80%93-from-heroes-to-zeroes/.

One more thing, if you were to listen to their old stuff and the new stuff there is no way you would think it is the same band even though the lineup is the same 5 guys.

Their new record contract must have stated that they are not allowed to write thier own songs anymore and must record stuff from the same Nashville songwriters that spawn the rest of the crap on country radio these days.

This band is an example of everything that is wrong with the music business.

I kept noticing their 2004 album "Welcome To The Woods" on the record store shelf after its release. I read some good reviews online but never got curious enough to buy it. A couple years ago I found it on the used rack for $2 and figured what the hell. It is actually a pretty good southernish rock and roll record. I also "found" a couple of their older releases online which are also good.

Then somewhere the train ran off the tracks. They signed with a 'Nashville' record label and put out a god awful self-titled record in 2006. They went from a good rock band to the type of crap that Big & Rich and other Nash-Vegas douchebags are known for. Stupid juvenile lyrics and disposable songs with no redeeming value. Now it seems they have done it again with "Holler Back".

I read some customer record reviews at Amazon.com recently and the 'old' fans can't believe what the hell happened to the band and the 'new' fans are confused that people say their favorite new band now sucks.

I hope they are at least making some $$$ from selling their souls to the devil.
