Well. I guess I am back. Lots of thanks go out to all the people who helped me out with guest posts so that the site would have updates w/o me having to work at all.
As of tomorrow I’ll be posting again and there is some plum awesome shit on the horizon that needs to be written about.
Speaking of plum awesome…vacation was a blast and I am terribly sad to be back in Florida (where I can’t get Fat Tire). If I could spend my entire life snowboarding I would. The wife finally progressed to the point where she can ride anything on the hill and for the first time ever we actually got to snowboard together.
Since I was up in the mountains and on vacation I decided to see if I was able to grow a beard…I’m still working on it and there is a chance I’ll shave it off on any given night but here it currently is:

Any thoughts?
I do have a favor to ask from someone out there. If you live in a portion of the country where you can actually buy Fat Tire and you’d be willing to send me a bottle or two please email me (autopsy4@gmail.com). I just ordered a Fat Tire homebrew clone kit and I’d like to have some of the real thing to compare it to once it’s ready.
See y’all tomorrow.

…i can get fat tire. shoot me an email and i’ll send some out.
val
you guys don’t have Fat Tire? They have Fat Tires in Texas!
dude rock yrself a bigass zz top/honkeyfinger beard.
and send me yr list soon! THX!
I had my first Flat Tire almost a decade ago in Dhaka, Bangladesh by the pool at the American Embassy, of all places — supposedly, it was the Ambassador’s favorite brew, so he had it shipped in. Hard to get ‘em in Massachusetts, too, though I’ve become a Dogfishhead man long since. Still, if you ever figure out the mail-order thing, count me in!
PS: the beard looks ok, but it needs some work
the wife and i are renting a cabin in estes park for a bit this summer. the only thing that i have to do before i leave (other than sit on my rear) is to hit the New Belgium Brewery…nirvana and heaven rolled into one brewery…if you ever need a fat tire hook-up, let me know also, i can get it anywhere around here.
Welcome back…
Looks like the Fat Tire thing is handled. All hail the internet.
I just posted a review of the latest album by J Shogren on Oliver di Place, (http://oliverdiplace.blogspot.com). I think you and your readers would particularly like this. Come have a look and a listen, and let me know what you think.
Fat Tire is the Coor’s of our generation. BTW, you have to give the beard at least 4 weeks before a determination can be made. Have faith.
They serve Fat Tire at the Young Ave. Deli in Memphis. Totally irrelevant and not helping at all, but it’s true.
I keep trying to convince the wife that us taking an impromptu weekend trip to Memphis for BBQ would be a good idea…knowing you can get Fat Tire on tap there adds ammo to my arsenal.
Thanks.
It seems like I have seen some Fat Tire over at that place in South Tampa, Hyde Park Express.
nope.
I even called to make sure they haven’t started stocking it recently.
