No. This isn’t just me passing along some press release I got. Yes. I genuinely like Tori Amos. I see you shaking your head in disgust and to that I say “feh!”. Admittedly, I haven’t that big of the material she’s released in the 2000′s but I love(d) every album she released in the ’90′s and I love this track as well.

It’s from her new album, Abnormally Attracted to Sin, set to be released in May. I hope this track is indicative of the whole album.

  1. Here comes The Tori Amos Band. Sorry but I don’t like it at all, she sounds like a little old lady. Still has that TBK and ADP sound. She may be a good Vegas lounge act.
Good thing I still have lots of her older stuff on CDs and DVDs, now that’s Tori.

  2. I think that this single is not as great as the tracks she did in the 90´s I totally felt in loved with “from the choirgirl hotel” whitch is a fantastic album with a very interresting production between the tori of under the pink or boys for peel with some elements of electronic music. “To venus and back” is the most experimental lp of her carreer and scarlet´s walk is a gorgeous album of deep emotional folk-pop songs. But since she became a kind of old fashioned diva she lost her credibility as a enigmatic and provocative singer. American doll possee wasn´t bad but i think that she will not create amazing stuff anymore and break the rules as she used to do in the past.
