Once I accepted that this list was completely subjective and even arbitrary depending on the day and my mood it got a little easier. I still won’t be doing anything like this again but what the hell it’s a list. My problem with it is that it’s really a bunch of songs by the same artists, for the most part, and that offends my sense of style when it comes to mix tapes. While this whole thing was a giant pain in the ass I am glad I did it. For the record this is nothing more than my favorite songs from the past decade and in the moment I did the song selection.
