In which our hero realizes just how how subjective top lists can be and that he bit off more than he could chew.
I thought my top 100 would have a lot more variety in it to be honest. But if I am honest with myself and in turn with you, our faithful readers, the same names are on the list over and over. It’s not horrible because there is a lot of different artists on here but my favorites are somewhat myopic. So after trimming down from about five hundred songs I was left with the task of sorting them all into some kind of order. You can bet I won’t be trying this again. I didn’t even want to post this to be honest but since I said I would I am going to so you can all view my shame in failing utterly and completely to come up with any kind of real list. I just couldn’t do it. So these are my favorite 100 songs, at this moment, from the last decade – a failure in four parts.
