That night was one of those nights when the stars aligned and the music, the beers, the friends, the dancing and the HEAT took me ‘there’. that place that keeps me coming back for more. That was the same night Drag creeped their way up into my heart too. And it will always be one of those nights that reminds me why I love music so much. See you all tomorrow night.

this really resonated with me:

It expresses the loveliest side effect of playing original music: the communities of lifers that coalesce around the love of tunes and bars and beers and laughter and drama. It reminds me that, while I write music because I’m driven to, the friends and times that come with it are often every bit as important to me as the words and the chords.
