  1. Hopefully, all those Gaslight Anthem fans will run out and buy Lucero CDs!!!

  2. Gave me chills just like it does everytime I hear or see Ben play it, Fucking perfect.

  3. The word “epic” is used on the Internet so much lately that it’s lost it’s meaning.

This gives new substance to the term.

Amazing a/v. What did you use to record it?

  4. Holy hell this is one incredible cover, I wish they would’ve played it in Hollywood.

  5. Great cover, great song!

  6. Awesome! Tim looked like he wished he had a guitar or a drum set to play.

  7. Wow. What a great cover. I never thought anyone outside of our boys could do their song justice, but Gaslight and Tim proved me wrong. In cases like these, I love being wrong. :)

  8. this is awful. Brian’s parts are good, but they really did “kill” a beautiful song.

  9. I have to agree with elizabethfury…I’ve seen Ben & the band do this more times than I can count and this seems more tepid and less authentic than every single one of them. Probably the best “cover” versions I ever heard were on the Revival Tour…with the steel guitar.

Towards the end of the tour various folks kept joining him on stage…fucking incredible.

  10. Is it just me or was that not very good?

  11. I was at this show and this was even better live. I’ve seen Lucero do it too and of course it was better but this was a great surprise at the end of an excellent set. They also covered State of Love & Trust.

  12. Saw them play it in Providence and Boston this week. Loved it both times. It’s no Lucero, but I love that they love Lucero as much as I do.

  13. Was at this show, fucking killed it.
