I caught an afternoon showcase at SXSW this year where these guys demolished the stage and and made me a B.D.H. convert. See these guys live! The lo-fi crunchy production of their albums sometimes mask their true musical
genius. I find it to be a bit gimmicky when every track has it. I love the songs and the musicianship, but it would be cool to hear these guys with another producer. Cleaning up their sound or adding a bit more variety to the recordings/mixdowns could make these guys huge. Dennis Herring who did Buddy Guy's Sweet Tea would take these guys to a whole other level. If B.D.H. is reading this I still think you guys are great.
