This Friday night (as in 2 days away) Sara Lee Guthrie (daughter of Arlo, grandaughter of Woodie) and Johnny Irion are playing there. Doors are at 8:00 and the ticket price is $15.00 at the door.I about swallowed my tongue when I saw this listing pop up on TampaShows.net today and can saw I am genuinely excited about this one. Hope to see some of y’all there…

The UU dome is kinda cool.
It’s been a few years since I’ve seen a show there, however.
The artist is on the floor and the audience sits in theater-type
“pews” in “the round”. I know – that’s not very descriptive.
It’s definitely designed to listen to an artist, not hanging out and drinking with your buddies.

Hi, that Sara Lee & Johnny show was booked very last minute by WMNF 88.5FM… I heard about it on-air the week of the show and added to my page. I didn’t make it out, but I saw the Guthrie Family Legacy Tour earlier this year in West Palm and it was fantastic! Arlo, Sara Lee & Johnny, and various other family and collaborators performed an awesome set with all of their own songs as well as several Woody Guthrie songs… Thanks for checking TampaShows.Net, I spend a pretty good amount of time scouting out the shows on there so it makes me happy when I hear about someone using it and finding something they would have otherwise not known about!
