The traffic was back to normal last night and the show went off without a hitch. It’s chock full of new music from the likes of McDougall, The Grand Tetons, The Parlor Soldiers, Lucero and Arliss Nancy. I also played a fantastic track off the new Counting Crows album that’s a cover of Kasey Anderson’s “Like Teenage Gravity” which is immediately followed by a track off Kasey’s upcoming album. Sound good? I thought so, so put your ears on the archived stream of the show.

Also, next week’s show is the marathon show. Ninebullets Radio has 60 minutes to raise $1600 dollars. We’ve never missed a marathon goal which is something I think is a source of pride for both, the show and it’s listeners. If you enjoy the show or just enjoy the idea that there is a show out there playing these artists then please, drop a donation in Ninebullets Radio’s Tip Jar.

Episode 66: aired 04.05.2012

Last night’s show was a little bit of a goat f*ck. There was a terrible accident on the interstate that turned my normal 35 minute drive to the station into an hour and 20 minute slow roll. So, the first 20 minutes of the show are an extended version of Ed’s Postmodern Hootenanny and aren’t represented in the playlist below. Anyhow, I basically pulled into the station, sprinted into the studio, set-up in 3 minutes and went on the air. All things considered, I think the show turned out pretty awesome and I think you will too so put your ears on the archived stream of the show.

Episode 65: aired 03.29.2012

Ms. Beverly Capshaw sat in for me last night as I continue my vacation/best dude impression. It’s always interesting to see what comes out of the shows that have guest hosts. Especially what surfaces that would never get played on my version of the show such as Centro-Matic, Great Lake Swimmers and Will Johnson solo. It’s not that I dislike these bands, I just don’t ever think about them. Beverly, however, did. She also thought about Two Cow Garage, Matt Woods, JC Brooks & The Uptown Sound and a whole slew of other awesome shit. So put your ears on the archived stream of the show.
