9B WEEK IN REVIEW:

Another week is in the books and the weather has started to change here in Florida. Last night’s Have Gun Will Travel was a rousing success and the rest of the weekend will be spent watching football. So let’s get week in reviewing:

October brings us another Feel Bad For You mixtape.

I mentioned last night’s Have Gun Will Travel CD Release party. Well, they stopped into the WMNF studios last week and performed the entire new cd live.

If you like those classic country sounds then this weeks episode of Ninebullets Radio might be right up your alley.

This week’s stable of reviews included: The Greencards – The Brick Album, The Lonesome City Travelers self-titled album and Amanda Shires – Carrying Lightning.

9B WEEK IN REVIEW:

Another week, another week in review. Sorry for getting this up so late. It’s been an awesomely busy weekend but now I am sitting on my butt watching the Buccaneers game so let’s get to reviewing:

Scott H. Biram’s new album, Bad Ingredients, has come out. We may not have reviewed it yet but we did post the new video and recommend that you buy the cd.

I officially named the Worst Song On Pop Country Radio.

That’s The Thing About That gave us a “best of” collection from the Suburban Home 16th Anniversary Party.

This week’s episode of Ninebullets Radio was a marathon show. We met our goal to continue the show’s run of never falling short of it’s goal.

We reviewed some records; Poor Boy’s Soul – Burn Down, Gill Landry – Piety & Desire, Glossary – Long Live All Of Us and The Kentucky Parlor Pickers – Barn Burner.

Well, another week is in the books and my Florida State Seminoles still haven’t won a game against a Division 1A team. It’s times like these that whiskey and music were made for. This is what happened on ninebullets.net this week:

We found another Ninebullets Kickstarter Project of the month worthy project in Franz Nicolay’s plight. Even if you don’t contribute to his kickstarter you should visit it and read the FAQ.

Glossary released another trailer for the new album, Long Live All Of Us. It’s a sequel to the last trailer.

Did you know Waylon Jennings recorded a few songs with The Old 97’s? Neither did I but you can get one of those tracks for free on the new Southern Independent compilation.

Suburban Home is releasing the self-titled cd from Lenny and The Piss Poor Boys. We had an exclusive track that you probably better recognize from Drag The River.

The site had comment problems but we fixed them and then we asked y’all what you thought about starting to include Spotify links on the site.

Speaking of Spotify, Rune put together another entry in the always interesting Spotify This series.

Ninebullets Radio brought the classic country sounds this week.

This was a slow week here on ninebullets. The week opened with some hosting issues which prohibited us from posting anything until Tuesday afternoon and then we just never found our stride. That said, there were posts and this is where we recap them:

There were videos! First we had Bingham Barnes doing his best Napoleon Dynamite impression and then we were treated to an interview with Two Cow Garage’s Micah Schnabel.

There were exclusives! Lizzie Huffman has a new 10″ coming out and we have a song.

There was radio! This week Von from Americana Rock Mix joined me on the latest edition of Ninebullets Radio.

There were also reviews! Jessi Robertson – Small Town Girls, Ollabelle – Neon Blue Bird, Folk Family Revival – Unfolding and Frank Turner – England Keep My Bones
