Hey everyone, Autopsy IV here. I walked over to where I normally find RomeoSidVicious only to find a mountain of work and some muffled screams of submission so I am taking over the Top 5 for this week.

Since last week was kind of difficult I thought I’d try and keep this weeks reeeeeeal easy. No real need for too much explination….Top 5 Songs From Your Favorite Bands.

One more album from the Two Cow Garage boys and I am thinking my list would have included Should’ve California and Skinny Legged Girl but not yet….

I look forward to reading y’all’s responses….Here are mine (in order):

5) Lucero – Sixes and Sevens
4) Lucero – Drink Till We’re Gone
3) Lucero – Slow Dancing
2) Lucero – Old Sad Songs
1) Lucero – I’ll Just Fall

The December podcast will ring out 2009 here on ninebullets. This month there were no themes and no sponsors, just me, a bottle of sweet tea vodka and a huge list of some of my favorite songs of this year. Some made this podcast but most didn’t…not because they were inferior songs, mind you, they just didn’t fit the show. Believe it or not, I do try to maintain even flows throughout these things and avoid too many whiplash tempo changes. Had I made the podcast the day before or the day after I did, it probably would have turned out very, very differently. But I didn’t, and these are the songs that I chose and I’m done apologizing/explaining.

So, here are some of my favorite tracks of 2009 in podcast form. Everyone be safe over the long weekend, nurse your hangovers with the hair of the dog and college bowl games and we’ll see you come 2010.

As always, below you’ll find the track listing for the show. Please tell your friends and Facebook/Twitter followers about it, I’ll greatly appreciate it.

Lucero been crowd testing some new songs for a while now and they’ve been popping up on live boots here and there. Hell, I think I’ve posted a few on here already.

Well, last month one of my fellow Lucero Message Board members collected a lot of them into one post. I dunno why I didn’t think about it at the time but it took seeing them posted on another blog (Fuel/Friends) to think, “Fuck! I should share all of these with the 9b.net readers“.

So, my bad. I’m sorry. Better late than never and all that shit. Which one do you like the best?

I can’t wait to hear the studio version of Sixes and Sevens.

Ben Solo – Hey Darlin’, Do You Gamble?
