Sheer Mag – II (7") – 2015

I still need a regular fix of great country songwriting, but for a while now my home has been in the scuzzy and danceable, romantic and pissed, fun, punkish stuff that Philly’s Sheer Mag do as good as anybody. Their guitar tone is the best.

FFO The Marked Men, Le Tigre, dancing with your arms and legs and hips at the same time for as long as your bad back and sore arches can stand it, occasional sodas, being too lazy to clean the errant coffee grounds from the wall behind your kitchen garbage can, keeping the windows down when driving past an especially tar-reeking construction site, The Commodores, Thin Lizzy, and altostratus undulatus clouds.
