Umm.. not that there’s anything wrong with it, but KURT did you think Bryan was GAY? hahahahhaha Which knowing him as well as I do, I find that completely hilarious! Or did you not catch the part where the post said “my boyfriend”?

Hey Kurt, sorry to disappoint, but it was me who posted this and not Bryan. I am an unabashed Cure fan, and I also happen to be from Michigan, which apparently excuses liking the Cure, so I pray you will forgive my love of them and for occasionally guest posting here.

I am not southern fried or cool, so if you see my name at the bottom of the post, be forewarned!

I’m glad you enjoy this site and that you feel free to say what you feel, that’s what it’s about, in my humble editor/guest poster/Michigan hipster opinion.

Come on man. I usually love your posts because they are not the same hipster b.s. I find on all the other blogs. I’m not saying The Cure suck or anything, I just come to your site to find all of the best southern fried coolness. Let some hipster guy in Michigan talk about the Cure. You are the only guy who does alt-country justice and I would hate to see your site turn into another forgetful hipster blog. I respect your love of other music. That is why you do such a good job picking out the good alt-country worth listening to. I don’t mean to piss you off. Your site is one of my favorites.

A friend in Toronto had already shared the setlist from that stop on the tour, so we were expecting the three encores (I seem to recall there being a couple at Curiosa too) and I have to admit I was disappointed that they didn’t play two of my favorites, Open and End (from Wish) at the appropriate slots in the list (…opening and ending) on our night like they did in TO.

Regardless, it was one of the best large-scale rock shows I’ve ever attended. We had a great time!
