Because Songs Matter

PLAYLIST: NINEBULLETS RADIO 04.26.2012

The past few weeks have seen 9b Radio sit in a more mellow groove so I decided to up the rock level of this week’s show. It certainly didn’t hurt to have Truckstop Darlin’ and Tin Horn Prayer send me brand new songs and when you combined those with Sunday Valley, an unreleased track from the Bohannons the rock kind of upped itself. Even the requests fit the overall feel I was going for last night so good job to the listeners. Now! Go put some ears on the archived stream of the show.

Great show as always and love the Kasey Anderson song. I saw him introduce it live at SXSW in 2011. It is a really acidic take on the americana scene.

I just got the whole new album (pre-mastered) via his kickstarter project. It is really good. Some Depression is a stand-out, but Don’t Look Back wowed me. Consider giving it a spin on your show.

Thanks for introducing me to Arliss Nancy, as well. The Crease is GREAT.
