True–nothing ground breaking. But for $2.99, not bad. I really enjoy “I Don’t Know What to Do.”

Wife and I were both interested enough to justify spending $3, and while I don’t think she’s listened to it yet, I’ve gone through it a few times already.

I like a lot of music, and depending, mellow music is included. I really like the character of this album and the only complaint I can find is with Yorn’s affected warbled vocals. Mostly that aspect is tolerable, but there are a few moments that are flat ruined by it.

Scarlett can do no wrong by me though. =^)

i prefer it to she and him. “drowsy” is a real good word to describe that record. i didn’t enjoy it much, though deschanel is a decent singer.

I’ll likely give this one a shot, just to see how it hits me.

To be honest, I hope its better than the She & Him record you referenced. that record is one of those records that everyone else in the world sems to love, and I just dont see it…at all. I was able to effectively use it for a sleep aid on many a flight last year.

Her voice….ahhh, her voice. I just can’t get passed it. She sings like she’s been sedated. There’s no fire.

I’ll admit she isn’t as lethargic on this as she was on her own album, but this was actually recorded in 2006, so if anything, her voice is just getting worse over time.
