I love this record, Murdering Oscar is great (as it has been for awhile now) and I think Granddaddy is great because it reminds me of what my father has told me about what he’s gonna do when he is a Granddaddy. I think its a great record, better then his first in my opinion (but, at the same time, they are two VERY different records).

I didn’t notice the Bass being out of whack but I have not listened to it at very high volume either…

I agree–it’s taken me a few listens to get excited about this record. Is it just me, or were the bass tracks overdone–I found I had to turn my bass controls down to listen to this record.

I think the bonus tracks (vinyl only) are some of the best on the album. It definitely takes multiple listens to get into it though it’s grown on me now. Granddaddy is one of my favorites even if it is a little cheesy.
