Okay. Not really, but you would think that from watching the news. For those of y’all that don’t know. Ninebullets.net is based in St. Petersburg, Florida and as you may or may not know; we have a little inclimate weather heading our way tonight/tomorrow. Now really, I’m not thinking Fay’s gonna pack much of a punch…Cat. 1 at landfall and quickly downgrading to Tropical Storm after landfall. However, I’ve not been through anything more than a thunderstorm at the new house so I’m not sure what’s gonna happen with the power. Additionally, being on the edge of the hood I am gonna assume that if I do happen to loseWeight Exercise power I am gonna be near the bottom of the list for getting it restored. So. There is a slight chance that this will be my last post for a few days. Till then, I got (2) bottles of Beam, some steaks and (10) cans of beenie weenies (pork and beans)…..Y’all take care.

The Shiners – Hurricane Blues
Jimmy Buffett – Trying to Reason With Hurricane Season
Left Lane Cruiser – Pork N’ Beans

You wanna know a sumbitch? The wife went up to Minneapolis for some Aveda training and was scheduled to fly home tomorrow evening. She’s totally ending up stranded in the Carolinas for a day or two.

  1. [...] I’m going to bow to ninebullets greater hurricane expertise, and hurricane music selection. [...]

  2. As long as it wipes out Pinellas Park, everything is fine :D

I’m up here near Jacksonville; judging by the news dorks here you’d like think Katrina’s little sister was on her way. I expect it to be nothing more than a glorified Nor’easter.

Enjoy your blog, by the way.

  3. I DIDNT EVEN RAIN AT MY HOUSE!!!1!!!!

lame…happens everytime i wish for mass destruction

  4. WOW! You’re a jackass! :)

  5. L-rod…that hurts my feelings,

  6. It’s flooded here. =/ We’ve gotten about 8-10″ already and the rain and wind just picked up again. By the way, I’m in the east Orlando boondocks-swampy marshlands.

But hey! You live in St Pete right? HOW BOUT THEM RAYS!?!?!?! Biiig Rays fan since ’98 here, even went to the inaugural game. So it’s incredible to have a great team now. =] If you haven’t, definitely catch a Saturday night game soon – it’s quite an atmosphere. Central Florida’s never had a good baseball team and the Rays are all the rage from Sarasota to Melbourne! WOO HOO!!

We better get a huge storm by the end of the season. We ain’t had a good ‘un since ’04! We’re due for another Jeanne or something. I’ll take any day off work I can!

  7. By the way, love your blog. Especially enjoyed the Chris Knight love. Didn’t know anyone else in FL knew he existed! Best modern songwriter by FAR.

  8. Be on the lookout next week.
I’ll be posting a piece on the new Chris Knight.

Also, I basically live in the shadow of the Trop but in the 2.5 years I’ve lived in Downtown St. Pete I’ve only been to one baseball game…I went to a Sunday afternoon game versus the Tigers a few weeks ago. I’m more of a hockey/football fan.

Tell you what though…our local watering hole is a few blocks from the stadium…next time you’re over on this coast for a game drop me an email…we can all meet up for some whiskey.

Good luck drying out over there. I heard parts of Melbourne got 24″ of rain in a 24 hour period.
