Please stay away from webhostingpad.com.
Webhostingpad.com service is very bad, they complain about everything too many traffic on your site, you are using too many processor time, you have to remove some of your module on your site.
Webhostingpad.com suspended your account for no reason.
Please think twice before you do bussiness with webhostingpad.com, it’s not reliable.

I’m apparently a chronic complainer. My sites were suspended because I complained about them. WebHostingPad.com won’t give me a refund for the 2+ years of hosting that I paid for two months ago. They won’t reinstate my account either because they know that my next plan was to create a complaint site featuring them on their very own server. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and with the attorney general of Illinois. I feel strongly that they owe me a refund if they’re going to cancel my service without a reason other than they just don’t like it that I have pointed out the error of their ways.

Well, my site is back online, but I’m on the look for another hosting service anyway.

I’ve looked at NearlyFreeSpeech and they seem ok, but they use their own brand of control panel and I’ve been spoiled by cpanel.

Any recommendations?

I have dedicated myself to stand firm on how terrible Web Hosting Pad is. They have since removed posts in their forum where customers were complaining about their uptime promise (up to 26 pages were posted before they deleted it!). Well, their site (http://www.webhostingpad.com) is down… as well as my personal site. Can’t access via ftp, so I figured they’re gone.

At least I have a backup of my site, if a little old.
