We are (if I may say so myself) a pretty awesome collection of people over on the Lucero message board. No drama, no flame wars and real conversations a message board anamoly to be sure. Well, each month we all submit tracks and one kind soul arranges it all and puts the comp up for all of us to download. Don’t let this month’s cover art fool you, it has all the Irish drinking music and what not that one would expect from a March compilation cd. You can download the entire compilation here. There is a full-post complete with more info on each track over on the Lucero message board.

SSSWWWWWEEEEEEETTTT!
i know this is late- but, i’m just getting around to catching up on your latest postings.
and i’m just agreeing with you, yes. the lucero board is a FINE buch of people. and we make some pretty kick ass comps. see ya on the board.
I saw Lucero Friday at SXSW. They played an afternoon party at Molotov. It was real cool seeing them in a small club with the sun still up. Too bad it was a short set and they were saving all of their big songs for their late show. The Black Diamond Heavies played earlier and they kicked some serious ass. Go see the Black Diamond Heavies anywhere, anytime… The same goes for Lucero of course.

I’ll be seeing Black Diamond Heavies at the Deep Blues Festival this summer.
I can’t wait.
Their new album is about to come out too.
