If you gave someone's a band's quintessential album that sort defeated the purpose of introducing them to the band as a whole. As far as whole albums go I would probably be more prone to give someone That Much Further West as it displays more of The Replacements influences and most of my friends are huge fans of The Replacements. AIV is right though. I wanted to show the boys growth, in a chronological manner, over the course of a couple of mixed. This intro developed a life of its own pretty quickly and ended up almost four hours long. Nick: Yup there's one for Cory and some more planned. There's a few bands and artists I have been wanting to introduce friends to. I don't want to spoil the surprise but I think right now I have enough for the one artist a week for the next six weeks.
