Just drove to Huntsville, AL to have the pleasure of finally seeing DBT play live last Thursday at Crossroads. Great show and was able to hear quite a few of these new songs. Patterson’s intro to “Girls Who Smoke” was pretty good – they’re in the UK in August dressed in t-shirts and shorts for a rock festival and it’s 38 degrees and raining and everywhere they look, folks are smoking, pissing on anything that moves and knee deep in mud. Also, Jay’s Hammond B-3 on “The Flying Wallendas” is ear-splitting live. Patterson really seemed to play off Jay all night, especially with the vocals.
