What is Hangar 18? I quote from Ear Farm:
Behold, ladies and gentlemen, the first season of Hangar 18: the Bloggers v. Rockers Fantasy Football League. This league pits six bloggers (My Old Kentucky Blog, Gorilla Vs. Bear, Ear Farm, ninebullets, Indie Interviews, and I Guess I’m Floating) against six musicians (Tapes N Tapes, Vicious Vicious, Margot & The Nuclear So & So’s, The Muggabears, Arizona, and Mancino) in a battle to decide who amongst the twelve of us will reign supreme as the Indie Rock CHAMPION of Fantasy Football.
Well, there just ain’t no way to sugar coat this. I am on the precipice of a slump. Having lost in the last 2 weeks and more importantly, having failed to take advantage of LT finally breaking out of his shell, I really need to get a damn win this weekend. Fortunately, my opponent is a mere 2-4 but with wins in the last 2 weeks we could quite possibly be 2 teams heading in 2 different directions. Maybe Tom Brady will get food poisoning.

Tampa’s little engine that could, The USF Bulls will take the national stage again tonight to play against last years version of them, Rutgers University. It’s not very often you get the NUMBER 2 TEAM IN THE NATION playing on a Thursday night. Hopefully that pour it on Rutgers seeing as how every pollster, supporter and doubter will be tuned in. Imma have a bottle of Beam and a foam brick. HOOK ‘EM BULLS!
