You’ve probably heard Girls, Guns and Glory and you don’t even know it. If you’re a ninebullets regular, you read about their sophomore cd, Pretty Little Wrecking Ball, back last May. The rest of you have probably heard their music used as bumpers on ESPN (including extensively during last years Capital One Bowl), ABC ,and their song “Big Man” was used in a RadioShack commercial. Not too shabby for an unsigned band outta Boston, huh?
I originally likened Ward Harden’s vocal stylings to, “a bouncier version of Lyle Lovett,” and complained a little that the songs weren’t quite distinctive enough. Both are still true on their third effort, Inverted Valentine, but just like before I’m in love with Harden’s voice, and the album is too damned fun to worry about track by track distinction.
Packed with 11 tracks of woeful country, prison music, rockabilly and rock and roll, perhaps Inverted Valentine will serve as a gateway cd to Roy Orbinson classics for some scruffy gutter punk drinking a Pabst.

My God, i thought you were going to chip in with some decisive insight at the end there, not leave it with we leave it to you to decide.
