Final Ol’ Dirty Bastard album gets release date

Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s final album is to be released, it has been announced.

The former Wu-Tang Clan rapper is believed to have completed A Son Unique just before he died, almost two years ago.

The album will be released through Damon Dash’s Music Group and has been produced by Wu-Tang’s RZA. It was originally scheduled to come out in August 2005.

Macy Gray, Missy Elliott, and Pharrell Williams, plus RZA, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, and Method Man from Wu-Tang are expected to be among the guests on the album.

A Son Unique is due for release on November 17.
