They’re all great. Suburban Home has great 5 for $25 or 10 for $50 deals so you can order them all

If I had to pick one to start with it’d be It’s Crazy with Closed right behind it.

Thanks for all the Drag the River love. Drag the River and Suburban Home love Nine Bullets.

To answer the question about good starting points, I think all of their records are worth visiting. But Closed and You CAn’t Live This Way are two faves, but It’s Crazy and Hobo’s Demos are up there, too. Then again so are chicken demos and hey buddies. I celebrate their entire catalog.

I started with Hobo’s and never looked back. Like the Old 97′s or Lucero (and lately Two Cow) Drag seems to be one of those bands that has a catalog that sounds best chronologically to me.

Failing that I always suggest “Hey Buddies” since it is short and encompasses all things Drag to me.

That's a loaded question with as many different answers as there are people answering but I'd say you should start with Closed and It's Crazy.

what would you recommend as an entry point to the DTR catalog? better late than never, but still, wish i heard these guys sooner. awesome.
