I don’t cover technology too often on here but when that the folks over at Daytrotter went and made themselves an iPhone app I knew I needed to mention it. So there. It’s mentioned. If you have an iPhone get the app now. Between it, Pandora Radio and iHeartNewMusic you should have all the music you could ever need.
Are there any other iPhone music apps I should have? If so, let me know in the comments. Here are two tracks from Lucero’s recent Daytrotter session:
Lucero – That Much Further West
Lucero – Mom

You should definitely get the Wolfgang’s Vault app. Great live shows from Bill Graham’s personal archives. For internet radio I use ooTunes. Great app for internet radio alone, but it also plays shows from archive.org (which has 396 Ryan Adams shows…plus a few others). Finally, I use Simplify Music to stream my own collection from my home computer to my iPhone. Great app as well. Kind of made me wish I hadn’t bumped up to the 32GB model when I now have access to over 500GB worth of music most anywhere.

iConcertCal is a good one. It makes a calendar of shows and album releases based on the artists in your iTunes library and your location. Good as a Itunes plugin too.
