incidentally I just had a conversation about hip-hop a couple of days ago and was saying that I bet there’s stuff out there I’d dig, I just don’t know about it. there’s always the problem with the language barrier for me when it comes to hip-hop so usually I’m sticking to German rap, but we have this trend of porn-rap for some time now that is really annoying me.

I wish I got a chance to write about a little more hiphop on here. there are a few bands I plan on writing about in the coming weeks/months on here…so be on the lookout.
also, what is “porn rap”?
porn-rap is embarrassing juvenile party-rap/electro about fucking (very explicitly), drinking, and being party kings, which in itself might not be that bad, but there’s absolutely nothing clever about the lyrics or the music, so it comes out as silly disco tunes.
this one for example says in its chorus “spread your legs, show your c*nt”
