I guess this is what you call the “afterglow”. I am home from Minnesota. I’ve had a descent meal and managed not to ingest a stupid amount of whiskey last night. In a few days my digestive track will settle down and it’ll all be over except for the stories. I plan on posting a foggy recollection/recap of the whole thing in a few days. Needless to say, so bands blew me away and some underwhelmed. While some unknown bands left me stunned. For today I am posting a photo blog of the weekend. I didn’t take a ton of pictures…I was there to watch music not document via digital camera.
You can see all the photos here.
Here are some of my favorites:

what a blast! happy to be home though. It was almost too much of a good thing. thanks for the pix. Daniyel of Cicada Omega is now in the midst of making a “Banjolin” out of a 16 mm film canister. He would prefer to make it out of a 35 mm canister, so if anyone has one of those kicking around, get in touch with Cicada Omega.

wow. a banjolin outta film canisters would be sick!
I hear on the almost too much of a good thing. I saw Christoph Mueller in the lobby the morning I was leaving and he a very accurate quote, “I feel like my body aged 10 years this weekend.”

Fantastic…still recovering, despite smashing the van on the way to see the final show at Big V’s on Monday with the last of the die-hards…well worth the agony. This weekend was a lifechanging experience. I trust the same can be said by many a festival goer. I miss my friends already.

Well, broke a window and peeled one of the doors open like a big Vag. Check Rick Saunders MySpace for a killer shot of him sticking his entire hand inside like that scene from Videodrome…
F it. It looks better now!
